Check valves come in three types: separate, horizontal, and horizontal unloading. The check valve air pipe connections are either ferrule type or threaded type. The check valve, also known as a lock valve or pressure-holding valve, functions the same way as a check valve to prevent reverse airflow. Opening the check valve allows airflow in both directions. The check valve uses fluororubber, silicone rubber, nitrile rubber, and flat sealing gaskets, providing good sealing performance. Another type, the unloading check valve, is tested similarly but has a slight difference in performance: if the unloading pressure range is not reached, the check valve will not open and airflow is allowed; after unloading closes, the check valve operates normally.
