The pressure regulating valve is an intuitive and simple flow regulation control device. In pipeline networks, flow regulating valves can directly set the flow according to the design. Under the action of water, the valve can automatically eliminate residual head and flow deviations caused by pressure fluctuations in the pipeline. Regardless of system pressure changes, it maintains a constant set flow. These functions allow the pipeline network flow regulation to be completed in one step, turning network adjustment into simple flow distribution, effectively solving hydraulic imbalance in the pipeline network. Flow regulating valves are mainly used in centralized heating (cooling) water systems to allocate network flow as needed, eliminate hydraulic imbalance, and solve uneven heating and cooling issues. Essentially, the pressure regulating valve can be considered a pressure reducing valve that reduces pressure by throttling. One side of the diaphragm or piston is the outlet chamber, and the other side is given a related pressure. The valve stem controlling the size of the orifice is connected to the diaphragm (or piston). As long as a fixed pressure is applied, the outlet chamber pressure will always equal this pressure. This given pressure can be provided by a spring, air source, or hydraulic source.
